MI boy and I racked up $164.00 bill of stuff from Target yesterday. We really try to keep our trips to that store to a minimum since we don't live near by one. So we end up spending big bucks and fill the shopping cart to the max when we go about once a month to a month & half. We even finally remembered to buy wiper blades for my car since we forgot the last 2 times we went. My wipers are so bad that i have to practically use a half bottle of washer fluid to get the windshield clean after it's been sitting on the Chicago streets for a few weeks at a time. Anyhoo. The kid at the register yesterday looked new. He scanned and bagged everything pretty slowly, and I could tell that the old man behind me was getting irritated we were taking long. (But other lines were open and he chose ours...too bad for him.) Turns out after driving all the way home and unpacking everything...we forgot a bag. Or rather, the slow cashier kid forgot to hand it over. And what was in it you ask? Why, the wiper blades of course. Grr. So today we had to drive back to get our missing bag. They did have it at the customer service desk at least. The cashier brought our bag to the counter and a HUGE book containing records of everything that was 'Paid for and Left' by other customers. We were probably like customer 1,562 or something. I guess it could have been worse. We didn't have to plead our case and convince anyone that we for sure did not get them and we're not trying to get some free products. Finally got my car washed too - it's all nice and shiny
