My friend Beth and her husband Bill celebrated their 1st year anniversary today. In honor of the anniversary they had a party 1 year exactly from the day of the blessed event. Friends and family were there in good spirits to toast the couple. Unfortunately we did arrive a little late - and our reasons were three fold: MI Boy came back from the store late. Then we had to dig my car out of a good 3 feet of snow since I haven't driven in a long time. Then we hit a pocket of traffic on I-55 because of an accident. But we made it and that's what counts right B! I got to have a slice of their year old wedding cake - surprisingly it still tasted pretty good.
