Well today has go to be the worst day of my cold. But it didn't stop me from mopping and vaccuuming and doing the last of the laundry.

Oh - i just remembered. The other day when I went to the laundry room there were two mexican housekeepers in there folding laundry. Then another one walked in with two kids that obviously weren't hers (they were way white and blonde), so she was obviously the sitter too. Anyway, they were chatting it up in spanish around the folding table and kinda looking at me funny. I would bet they were trying to figure out if I lived there or if I was a housekeeper too just cause I'm mexican. Hmmm. Well since I don't speak a lick of spanish and it's really hard to even try to pick out words in their conversation since they were speaking so fast, I couldn't figure out what the topic of their convo was...so I guess i'll never know.

Anyway I even got outside today for a bit of a walk since I had to move my car to a closer parking spot. Otherwise I made homemade strawberry syrup for my french toast this morning. Can you say YUM! All in all a busy day. My sweetie should be home soon and I'm surprisingly hungry even though i had a huge salad for lunch. Spinach, chopped chicken, mushrooms, red pepper, tomatoes, cheese and croutons with basalmic vinagrette. Can you say YUM again?!

Tomorrow, MI boy and I are driving out to MI to see his family for a b-day party. Should be a nice time - we're going out to eat instead of his mom slaving away in the kitchen. And I'm also going to meet one of his college friends, Courtney. I've seen plenty of pics of her and she seems nice. So hopefully we'll have a fun time out. I'm also looking forward to talking to his brother - he recently came 'out of the closet' and it was a hard decision for him to make since I'm sure his Dad doesn't approve whole heartedly being pretty religious and all . But of course still loves his son. So I'm dying to get more info from his bro, like if he's dating anyone and stuff - if he's willing to chat about it.

Time to think about dinner
