The life and times of a moose.

After trying to come up with some decent New Year's plans and and hoping the MI boy's bad cold would get on the next bus to someplace far far away, he just doesn't have the strength to party it up tonight. And that's ok with me. We were considering going to a bar that would cost $50 for all you could drink 9 to 2. But I called and they were sold out. We were invited to two house parties. One was being thrown by a friend that used to work at my company. He's been having a party for the past 4 years now and that's where MI boy and I usually go. Also MI boy's friend Alex invited us to a party being given by someone he knows. And that would have been an alright time too. But I honestly think it's better staying home. My reason's being 1. MI Boy is not well yet. 2. I haven't a clue what to wear 3. After last Thursday's drink fest (thanks Mr. Bhatia) I wasn't looking to go out and drink a lot anyway. 4. We'll save on cab fare 5. I ate half a frozen pizza for dinner and I'm having a bit of hearburn 6. It was 9:30 and I was already falling asleep while watching a show about Tsunamis. 7. I'm awake now and I'm more interested in watching a show about Mt. St. Helens (I'm a nature dork) 8. It's cold outside 9. I haven't a thing to wear 10. I love my MI boy and wouldn't dare go out without him on New Year's. We'll spend it together watching TV and enjoying the peace and quiet, sleep in and then get a nice brunch. That's a nice simple and safe way to start out the new year.
