We're barely one week into 2006 and already my January calendar is filling up with things to do, places to go, people to see. Friday night some peeps from work are organzing a karaoke night. I guess they've had like two outings before. Should be a good time. And yes I'll be performing of course - I like to sing! Saturday night I'll probably go see a friend perform her new songs. Then next thursday is another happy hour for a girl I recently made friends with. She's from Russia and her boyfriend is from Brazil. I forget how they met but they are a cute couple. They will be traveling to India (for his work) and then to Russia to visit her family. She's only temping at my office so we won't be working together anymore when she returns to Chicago.

Then either the weekend of the 14th or the 21st I'll be in Indiana to visit Grandma for her birthday. Then on the 20th I'm going to see a Neil Diamond cover band called SuperDiamond. It's a pretty entertaining show. My cousin's boyfriend is a lighting technician at the House of Blues here in Chicago and is getting us tickets and an opera box! Comes with our very own server so we don't have to miss a minute of the show going to the bar to get a drink. Pretty snazzy.

Don't know what else is on the plate...but i'm sure more will pop up.
