I've been pretty busy planning condo stuff, car repair, shopping and other random details lately. But I'm headed on vacation to Phoenix to see Sarahbethmom! She hasn't blogged in awhile either since she's been in Orlando for awhile.

All while packing last night, I was watching the never ending coverage on CNN of the Katrina aftermath. I just can't believe how bad it is. I knew that the minute they were filling that superdome with people before the storm, that it was going to end up a complete mess afterwards. That was quite possibly the worst idea ever. Yeah, these people's lives were saved - but what kind of life are they living now? They should have planned on bussing them out way earlier. Bad planning. Really bad. It's a damn shame. I've never been down south to New Orleans. But it doesn't matter now, the beauty of the city is gone. Smothered in destruction, filth and crime. What are these looters thinking? The world is selfish. You know it, I know it. It's one thing to take necessary supplies. But what the heck are you going to do with a TV right now!!! I can't believe I heard the words 'Martial Law' on TV. Police are now allowed to shoot to kill looters. It's a damn shame. I could go on and on...as CNN has. But it's useless, they just need help and money...not more talk. God Bless them all. I hope most make it through to a better life and soon.
