Michigan boy and I are in the process of looking for a condo. We've been pre-approved and are super excited to start viewing properties! After the 4th weekend, we're going to see 9 places in two nights all in the LP/Lakeview area...sounds like a lot. When we were looking for apartments we were only looking at one or two in a day. I guess it's harder to get appts. for apartments than condos. Anyway our agent seems knowledgeable and is looking out for our best interests, so I hope all goes well.

We also just bought a new bedroom set and acquired a huge bookshelf and other items from a guy in our building who's moving back to good ol' London. Never been to London...some day i will though...I digress - it was a great deal...all this stuff for $300 buckaroos. I can't complain. Now my room will look like an actual bedroom instead of a Super 8 Motel reject room. We had one dresser, a plant stand for a night stand, a loose mirror leaning against the wall and a filing cabinet as a TV stand. We'll have to do some rearranging, but it's worth it. Now we have light furniture in the bedroom and dark furniture in the livingroom/kitchen. What a mix. I have no decorating skills whatsoever. I vow to paint the walls fresh new and bright colors in our new condo...NO MORE WHITE WALLS! More later...
