So it's barely been a full day that my resume has been posted on Monster and I'm already having interview nightmares. Maybe I just need a few days for this to sink in. I'm sure I'll start becoming more comfortable with all this soon. My MI boy keeps telling me to relax and just send it out...even if I don't fully qualify. But doesn't that look bad to employers? That I'm purposely ingoring their pre-requisites just to send my resume out in a'blast' like fashion cause I THINK I could do the job their describing? I suppose that is up to them to decide. I posted my resume but I didn't include a cover letter. I think I need to do one so I can tailor it to the companies I'm applying for. I've had a couple people say it's not necessary when just posting online. But do send a cover letter when e-mailing someone directly or mailing it. And that makes sense.
