I'm back from the depths of the moving boxes! We're not 100% moved yet either. But I'm a new condo owner and I'm happy. Stressed still, but happy. We have til the 30th to be out of our apt, so we're picking up the remainder of our stuff this weekend. It was also Michigan boy's b-day on Sunday. His family was here and his mom treated us to dinner for that. But I'll be taking MB out for a nice fancy meal - just the two of us on Saturday night. We're just not sure where to go. There's a fondue restaurant around the corner from where we live now, and that would be convenient. Or he's been talking about going back to the restaurant we went on his b-day last year. We'll see. Lots to do this weekend. I might have to help my sister move, move the rest of our stuff, go shopping at Target, wash my filthy car, clean and finish unpacking and organizing, go out to dinner, research home liability insurance and only God knows I'm forgetting something.

I'm going out tonight with 3 friends that I haven't hung out with in a long time. When I first started working at this company, one introduced me to the 'happy hour' crowd. I soon became good friends with Liz, Amanda and Gail. We even took a trip to Toronto together. I went to NY with Liz and Amanda, and have taken two other trips with Amanda to Florida. Unfortunately, I've lost touch with them, even though two of them still work here! I'm a sucky friend. But we would occasionally hang out at other gatherings, but not just the 4 of us like back in the day. I've known them for 5 long years, and I feel like I have two years of catching up to do tonight. They were all even so nice as to agree to help me move if i needed extra help. I'm glad to know they're still good friends. They always say you can tell who your true friends are when they go to help you move!

I would also like to say that I've had Sarahbethmom 's pancakes and they are excellent!
