It was one of those days. Is it just me, or am i the only one that works with someone who is the most unapproachable person in the world. It is nearly impossible to get them to help if you ask. They're always 'too busy'. Yet they don't ever seem to be at their desk working on ALL the work they have. They tend to wander and chit chat with other people and take extended lunches. They leave from work early to catch their train. They seem to get easily distracted and work on one project for the entire day when you know it should have only taken them a few hours to get it done. So an unexpected project comes up and you simply ask your boss who out of the three of you in your department should work on it. It's assigned to the person who's 'too busy'. They refuse cause they have 'too much work already'. They wave the work in your face and get pissed. Did you do anything wrong by asking your boss to delegate a project to a team member so that all the work is being balanced among everyone. NO. But somehow your slacker of a co-worker just doesn't get it. They think you went behind their back to the boss to 'push' the work onto someone else. And maybe you did. But you did, only because you damn well know that THEY AREN'T DOING SHIT - and getting paid more than you.
