My boyfriend and I were walking on Clark St, just north of Diversey Saturday afternoon. We just passed store front filled with antiques and art. Both of at the same time stopped dead in our tracks, turned and looked at each other and then skipped right back to the front of the store. Did we spy something we may want to purchase. Hardly. We were both shocked by the fact that this rather 'upsale' shop was blasting hip-hop music through some speakers outside their door! What the hell?! What kind of antique shop owner listens to hip hop music? You just don't put the two together. Well needless to say I was cracking up and MI Boy was practically boppin to the music while laughing. Chicago never ceases to amaze me. heh
MI Boy thinks that this was the song that was playing. If you care to listen, picture a few pieces of fine art in the window, a antique upholstered chair and other various knicknacks in the window....go ahead...click on the link, and scroll down to listen to the song 'white tee'. Oh and there was grey haired man standing in the store too and it looked like he was the owner.
