Turducken on Saturday night was a huge success. There was more than enough food for everyone and my Jalepeno cheddar corn muffins were a hit! Unfortunately I did have to make some without jalepeno cause I ran out, since I had to make a 3rd separate batch. But it was fun. We played a dice game called 3-man. (drinking game really) But I was so full from dinner I couldn't play long after practically slurping up my glass of wine during the game. Had i known we were going to play drinking games I would have switched to beer before dinner. Otherwise all of Chicago is mourning the loss of our beloved Bears. No superbowl this year.

In other news I'm excited for two events this week. Our company's kick off meeting. I get to miss 4 hours of work to listen to the year's agenda and the sales team's plan for bringing in more revenue. Then we get a nice FREE cocktail hour from 5:30 to 7. Should be a good time. Friday night I"m going to see a Neil Diamond cover band called SuperDiamond. It's kind of tacky, but it's was a lot of fun the first time I went. So my cousin asked if I wanted to go again. Why the hell not!
