One of the cool things about weeknights in Chicago are the specials that local restaurants and bars have for dinner. The bar about a block from us has a $2 burger special and $2 beers. That's a cheap meal! MI boy and I jumped on a bus from downtown and headed straight there. The burgers are a 1/2 lb. and super juicy - not the healthiest at all - but it comes with seasoned fries. A nice way to spend the night, food, drinks and about 40 screens in the sports bar all showing the same thing. Sports bars...sheesh.
